Nurse Practitioners

Shannon M. Khulusi, M.S.N., APN, FNP-C

Shannon Khulusi M.S.N., APN, FNP-CShannon Khulusi is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned a Master’s degree in Science and Nursing. She received a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. She practiced 12 years as a Registered Nurse before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Shannon joined Monmouth Gastroenterology in 2004.  

Shannon works in collaboration with Monmouth Gastroenterology physicians to diagnose and treat Gastric Esophageal Reflux Disease, Barrett’s Esophagus, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Liver, Gallbladder, Biliary and Pancreatic Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, IBS, and has interests in Colorectal Cancer Screening.

Shannon is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner to practice in New Jersey. She is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, and Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune,NJ.

Shannon is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International.

 

Kimberly V. Tallia, MSN, RN-BC, APN, AGPCNP-C

Kimberly V. TalliaKimberly Tallia is an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She is a graduate of Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ where she earned a combined Master’s/ Nurse Practitioner Degree.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing at Pace University in Westchester, New York.  She practiced for 7 years as a Registered Nurse on a medical/cardiac step down unit at Jersey Shore University Medical Center before becoming a Nurse Practitioner.  Kimberly joined Monmouth Gastroenterology in 2014.

Kimberly works in collaboration with Monmouth Gastroenterology physicians to diagnose and treat Gastric Esophageal Reflux Disease, Barrett’s Esophagus, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Liver, Gallbladder, Biliary and Pancreatic Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, IBS, and has interests in hepatobiliary diseases.

Kimberly is a licensed Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to practice in New Jersey.  Through the ANCC she is board certified in cardiovascular Nursing and Adult Geriatric Primary Care Practitioner.  Other certifications include:  ACLS, BLS, Clinical Preceptor and Telemetry.      She is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ and Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.

Kimberly is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International and has been awarded with the distinguished Galaxy Award at Jersey Shore University Medical Center 2012, and Elizabeth Kellogg Nursing leadership and Excellence Award 2011.
